Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make aspic pie with plums on kefir? The recipe is very simple, and the result is wonderful. First, prepare all the necessary ingredients according to the list. Take the flour of the highest grade. Kefir with a fat content of 3.2%. Sunflower oil is preferably refined, odorless, because olive oil can give the cake unnecessary bitterness. Eggs need large selected ones. If the eggs are small, take one more.
Step 2:
First prepare the plums. Wash them, cut them in half and remove the bones. next, you can leave the plums in the form of halves, like me, or cut them into thinner slices. Here you can decide for yourself how you like it better. The variety of plums can be very different, from red plums, like mine, to prunes. The main thing is that they are dense enough and do not spread when baking.
Step 3:
Now prepare the dough. Combine chicken eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar and beat with a mixer until fluffy. The mass should increase in size by 3-4 times and lighten.
Step 4:
Pour in kefir at room temperature, sunflower oil. Whisk everything again. The mass will be greatly liquefied, but this is how it should be.
Step 5:
Sift the flour and pour it into the dough in parts, stirring the mixture with a mixer at low speed or with a whisk until smooth. Flour may need more or less depending on the size of the eggs, the moisture content of kefir and the quality of the flour itself. Therefore, focus on the consistency: the dough should be thick, but fluid.
Step 6:
At the very end, pour in the baking powder and mix the dough again.
Step 7:
Put the dough in a form lined with parchment and greased with butter (I have a diameter of 24 cm). Spread the plums on top. Bake the pie in a preheated oven for 40-45 minutes at 180 ° C. The surface of the pie will rise and slightly brown. Determine the exact time and temperature of baking according to your oven.
Step 8:
Remove the finished cake from the mold, sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired, cut into pieces and serve to the table. Enjoy your meal!
Be prepared for the fact that flour may need more or less than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!
