Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare and measure all the ingredients. Cut the pineapple into pieces, mash the banana half into a puree.
Step 2:
In one bowl, pour flour, sugar and soda with cinnamon.
Step 3:
Mix the dry mixture well until smooth.
Step 4:
In another bowl, put all the other ingredients for the dough - eggs, vegetable oil, vanilla extract and fruit.
Step 5:
Mix the liquid (wet) ingredients well.
Step 6:
Adding dry to liquid portions, combine the dough ingredients.
Step 7:
Mix until smooth - and the dough is ready.
Step 8:
Divide the dough into two small baking pans and bake two cakes (180 degrees, 25-35 minutes). Cool them, trim the tops.
Step 9:
To make the cream, put the cream and cheese in a whipping bowl and start whipping. When the mass gets a little stronger, and the cheese will disperse, add the powder and whisk further. You will get a light, form-holding cream. Keep it in the refrigerator for a while before using it - it will be easier to work with it this way. Apply the cream on the bottom cake in an even layer.
Step 10:
Put the top cake and line the cake.
Step 11:
Apply the cream to the top and sides of the cake.
Step 12:
Line the sides and top with a spatula or spatula. You can make divorces, take a textured spatula or make smears with a spoon, it turns out a very interesting effect.
Step 13:
Make a palette from the remnants of the cream, dividing them and painting each in its own color.
Step 14:
With the back of the spoon, apply the strokes in a chaotic manner.
Step 15:
Decorate the cake with pieces of Bounty bars and half kumquats (these are small citrus fruits, sold dried, mostly).
Step 16:
Now you can cut the cake and make tea.
Step 17:
This is how the cut turns out - loose and juicy. You can decorate a Hummingbird cake according to your taste and desire.
Enjoy!
