Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
To prepare the soup, prepare all the necessary ingredients. Peel onions, potatoes and carrots and rinse them in running water from dirt. Open a jar of canned saury. Use salt and spices to a minimum, as the soup itself is quite fragrant. Given the presence of salt in canned food, salt the soup only after adding fish. Having previously tried it.
Step 2:
Rinse rice several times in cold water. Cut the peeled potatoes into small pieces.
Step 3:
Pour water for the soup into a saucepan and put it on fire. Bring the water to a boil and dip the sliced potatoes and washed rice into it. Bring everything together to a boil and leave to cook for 5-7 minutes, over low heat.
Step 4:
Chop the peeled onions and carrots. Finely chop the onion. Grate the carrots on a fine grater.
Step 5:
Pour a little vegetable oil into the pan and fry the chopped vegetables for 3-4 minutes, not forgetting to stir them so that they do not burn. Then send the finished roast to the soup pot. Frying will give the soup a pleasant golden appearance and a more delicate taste.
Step 6:
Then put canned saury in the soup. It is not necessary to drain the broth from the canned food. Add it to the soup too. If the pieces of fish are large, then they can be broken into several parts. To taste, add a little salt and spices to the soup Boil everything together for another 10 minutes and remove from the heat. The soup is ready! Pour it into prepared plates and serve it to the table. If desired, you can add a little chopped fresh herbs to the plate. Bon appetit!
As you can see, by deciding to cook canned soup, you will save a lot of time for other household chores.
There is rice in the soup. But it can be easily replaced with pearl barley or, for example, lentils.
And saury itself can be replaced with any other canned fish, such as pink salmon or sardine.
The cooking recipe is so simple that even a novice cook can handle it.
