Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the ingredients. The process of preparing the dough begins with the combination of dry ingredients in a bowl. Pour semolina into a bowl.
Step 2:
Pour in the sifted flour.
Step 3:
Add sugar.
Step 4:
Baking powder and vanilla. If there is no baking powder, it can be safely replaced with half a teaspoon of soda combined with vinegar. Mix the dry ingredients well with a spoon.
Step 5:
Pour in kefir, it is better to take it out of the refrigerator in advance so that it is at room temperature. Mix the mixture so that the dry ingredients mix well and combine with the liquid.
Step 6:
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, but you don't need a fluffy foam, it's enough to mix the eggs with a fork so that they become just a homogeneous mass. Pour the egg mixture into a bowl with dough.
Step 7:
Melt butter in a water bath (you can do it in a microwave oven) and pour it into the dough. Mix well and leave the dough for twenty minutes to swell the semolina.
Step 8:
Lubricate the baking dish with butter, butter or vegetable. Spread the dough into the mold with a tablespoon, it should be thick enough and drain into the spoons with a ribbon.
Step 9:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, put the cake blank in it and bake for about 40 minutes. We check the readiness of the cake with a wooden stick, if it comes out of the dough dry, then the cake is baked.
Step 10:
We take the finished cake out of the oven and let it cool down right in the mold. The cooled cake is carefully removed from the mold, cut it into two parts. You can also cut it into more cakes, but since the dough is very soft, you need to do it carefully so as not to crumble.
Step 11:
Preparing the cream. Whisk cottage cheese, cream, butter, vanilla and sugar with a blender. The amount of sugar can be increased or decreased to taste, do not add vanilla. Cut bananas into circles 0.5 cm thick .
Step 12:
It is better to soak the cakes with sweet syrup so that they are well hydrated. Then it will not take much time to soak the cake in the refrigerator.
Step 13:
Lubricate each cake with cottage cheese cream, spread banana circles.
Step 14:
The top of the cake is also smeared with cream and decorated with a banana. We serve it to the table. Have a nice tea party!
