Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Peel the nuts and scald them. Some of them will be crushed, and others will be sprinkled with sugar and fried in the oven until a light brown crust forms. Put the cream in the oven. When we see a ruddy foam on their surface, we will remove it, putting it back in the oven – and so five times. Do not bring the foam to a dark brown color, otherwise they will spoil. Cut 2-3 foam strips. Pour sugar and semolina into the remaining cream.
Step 2:
Cook until the porridge thickens, stir it! Mix everything, adding nuts, raisins and chopped foams here. Lubricate a shallow form with oil, put porridge, and foam on it. And so – three times. Cover the top not with foam, but with sugar.
Step 3:
Put in the oven and bake until the porridge is covered with a golden crust.
Step 4:
Then put the nuts, candied fruits, and canned fruits or jam fried with sugar on the hot porridge.
Step 5:
Guryev porridge will be even tastier when we sprinkle each layer with nuts, candied fruits and spices.
