Step-by-step cooking
Knead the butter with a fork, add flour and continue to knead with flour. Then pour in the already salted water and knead the steep dough. We put it in the refrigerator for half an hour or an hour. After we take it out and roll it out on the table into a thin (about 5 mm) layer, fold it in half and roll it out again. And again. Then we roll it out for the third time and transfer it to a greased form. We form, as it were, a basket of dough – with sides. Bake in the oven for about ten minutes. Yes, be sure to lubricate our basket around the edges with yolk so that it acquires a glossy color.
We cook sugar syrup from these ingredients, remove from the heat and quickly put sliced bananas into it. Leave for about an hour so that the fruit is thoroughly soaked. The bottom of the finished basket is coated with jam, and we spread bananas beautifully on top. That's it, our banana cake is ready, you can enjoy.
