Step 1:
Ingredients
Step 2:
Put the softened butter or margarine in a bowl. Pour one cup of flour into a bowl. Then we chop margarine (butter) together with flour with a knife or mixer. After that, pour a little more flour into the bowl, and mix it all thoroughly. Next, pour the non-cold kefir (in it to extinguish the soda) into the flour and mix. Then we put sour cream there and pour in a few spoonfuls of sunflower oil. Stir the mixture and add flour.
Step 3:
Peel the meat from the films and cut into small pieces.
Step 4:
We shift our dough onto the board, knead the elastic, soft dough thoroughly. To make the dough soft, flour should be added in small portions.
Step 5:
Peel potatoes and onions. Cut the potatoes into small cubes. Chop the onion. In potatoes and onions we put meat and pepper and salt. Mix all the ingredients well.
Step 6:
We make small balls from the dough, and cakes from the balls.
Step 7:
We start our tortillas with the prepared filling and pinch the edges in the form of a triangle.
Step 8:
We leave a small hole on top of the pie.
Step 9:
Echpochmak – the most popular triangle pies in Tatar cuisine. This food can be prepared with a variety of fillings.
Step 10:
Grease the pies with beaten egg and bake in the oven for about half an hour.
Bon appetit!
Be prepared for the fact that you may need more or less flour than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough. To avoid mistakes, read about flour and its properties!
