Cooking method
Mix kefir with semolina and leave for one hour so that the semolina swells. Instead of kefir, you can take other fermented milk products.Beat eggs with sugar.Melt butter or margarine and cool. In the swollen semolina with kefir, add the beaten eggs, butter and mix.In the resulting homogeneous mass, add soda (you can not extinguish it in vinegar), vanilla and sifted flour. Mix everything thoroughly so that there are no lumps.Divide the dough into two unequal parts. To a smaller part, add cocoa powder, cinnamon (optional) and mix. Due to cocoa, it turns out thicker, so you can add one tablespoon of kefir. The form in which the pie will be baked, lubricate with oil and begin to pour out the dough in portions, alternating white and dark. In the middle of the mold, first pour 4 tablespoons of white dough. Then pour 3 tablespoons of dark into the middle of the white dough.Alternate layers of white and dark color until all the dough is finished. To make the top of the mannikin look beautiful, we make a drawing. We draw lines with a toothpick from the edge to the middle, as if dividing the pie into triangles. It turns out a pattern in the form of a flower. You can make any other pattern you like.Preheat the oven to 190-200 degrees and bake for 30-40 minutes. This time is approximate and depends on your oven. The readiness of the mannikin can be checked by piercing it with a toothpick. If there are no pieces of dough left on it, then the pie is ready.Take the pie out of the oven and let it cool.
