I really love shortbread cookies and I know a lot of recipes for cooking this food. Now I will share with you the simplest recipe - a shortbread cake. So, we make the dough. To begin with, combine flour and cold salted butter, cut into small cubes, in a food processor. Scroll these ingredients in the combine to such an extent that the mass will not resemble crumbs. If you don't have a food processor, you can use another way to prepare the dough. To do this, we carefully rub the oil into the flour with our fingertips, and then add the remaining ingredients and knead the dough soft to the touch. After that, add vanilla, egg yolks, powdered sugar and make a homogeneous dough in a combine. Then we put the dough in the freezer for an hour. After the specified time, we take out the dough, let it defrost at room temperature, roll it into a non-thin layer, cut it with a knife or special shapes. We put the sliced dough on a pre-greased baking sheet, put it in a preheated oven to 160 degrees. Bake cookies for 20-25 minutes. After this time, we take it out of the oven, let it cool down a little, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
