Composition / ingredients
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Necessary Ingredients
Step 2:
Cut beef into medium pieces
Step 3:
We put it in the bowl of a slow cooker and fill it with hot water. It can be cold, but then the cooking time will need to be increased taking into account the heating of the water
Step 4:
We set the program "Soup" for 2 hours
Step 5:
When the program is already coming to an end, we cut all the other ingredients for the hodgepodge - first the onion
Step 6:
Then ham into thin strips
Step 7:
Servelate straws
Step 8:
Boiled sausage also straws
Step 9:
The program is over - the meat is cooked
Step 10:
Leave the beef to cool
Step 11:
And pour the broth into another container
Step 12:
Pour vegetable oil into the bowl of the slow cooker and spread the onion
Step 13:
We set the program "Baking ", leave it to fry for 7 minutes
Step 14:
Meanwhile, cut the cucumbers into strips. I took fermented cucumbers, very sharp, I like them most in the hodgepodge
Step 15:
Cut green olives into thin circles
Step 16:
Spread the olives and cucumbers to the onion, mix and leave for 5 minutes
Step 17:
Meanwhile, we cut the beef into portions
Step 18:
After 5 minutes, add tomato paste, pour tomato juice and leave for another 8 minutes. I really like homemade tomato juice in combination with tomato paste, but, of course, you can take one thing
Step 19:
We spread the chopped meat products and leave them in the same mode for 10 minutes
Step 20:
Then pour beef broth, add bay leaf, optional pickle from olives. At this stage, you need to try for salt - I have enough salt, I did not add salt. We leave it until the end of the program "Baking". This program assumes a high temperature, so it will boil strongly. If not in a hurry, you can leave for an hour on the program "Soup" or "Cook "
Step 21:
After 15 minutes, the slow cooker signaled the end of the program - we leave the hodgepodge to infuse for at least 15 minutes
Step 22:
Meanwhile, let's prepare everything for serving
Step 23:
Cut half of the onion into half rings and put it in a plate, it will give its unique flavor and a little sharpness to our hodgepodge, and due to the fact that the hodgepodge is hot, it will marinate and will not be bitter
Step 24:
Finely chop the greens, cut the olives in half, cut off a circle of lemon
Step 25:
Pour hot hodgepodge into a plate with onions, sprinkle with herbs on top, spread a circle of lemon and olives. Bon appetit!
