Step-by-step cooking

Cooking time: 12 h
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1.

In order to make homemade ice cream from ripe bananas using a blender, in addition to the blender itself, bananas (sweet, ripe), natural fresh milk (I used store pasteurized), a little lemon juice and granulated sugar will be required. Instead of sugar, you can add sweeteners to your taste: natural honey (liquid is preferable), syrup.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2.

Peel the bananas from the skin. If there are darkened places on the pulp, then they must be removed. Cut the peeled bananas into circles and put them in the freezer for a few hours. It is not desirable that the circles of bananas "stick together " among themselves in the places of the cut. The formed lumps will then be difficult to break in a blender. Transfer the hardened slices of bananas to the bowl of a blender.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3.

At the highest power, whisk the frozen banana slices. First, a large crumb is formed. Add granulated sugar and lemon juice to the blender bowl. Also pour in some of the milk. Do not pour the milk all at once, add it gradually, adjusting the density of the mass to your taste.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4.

Grind everything together into a homogeneous mass. Adjust the taste of the ice cream relative to the sugar and add, if necessary, some more milk.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5.

Pour the finished homogeneous mass into ice cream molds or transfer to a container. Put it in the freezer for at least 4-6 hours.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6.

Serve ready-made homemade banana ice cream in a blender by dipping the molds in hot water and removing the mold. Or if the ice cream is in a container, then use a special ice cream spoon that forms balls (it also needs to be dipped in hot water beforehand).

It is not difficult to add variety to such a recipe: try adding a little dark chocolate grated on a fine grater - the dessert will acquire a special elegance and become more refined!
