Composition / ingredients
Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to make a salad with pineapple and chicken and cheese with garlic? Prepare all the necessary products. For a serving for two we will need: a small chicken breast, three or four rings of canned pineapple, a piece of cheese about 100 grams, two cloves of garlic (one for those who do not like the sharp taste of garlic), mayonnaise, spices. If a lot of guests are expected, then double or even triple the amount of ingredients.
Step 2:
Preliminary preparation is required only for chicken fillet. Marinate the chicken breast for a few minutes in any favorite spices (I have Italian herbs and salt).
Step 3:
Then fry the chicken breast in a small amount of vegetable oil on both sides. Let the fried breast cool down. You can just boil chicken fillet in salted water, but fried chicken is much tastier.
Step 4:
Cut the cooked chicken breast into small cubes.
Step 5:
Take out a few pineapple rings from the jar and lightly squeeze them out of the syrup so that it does not give excess moisture. Canned pineapple is also cut into medium-sized cubes.
Step 6:
We take any of our favorite cheese, the main thing is that it is solid. Salty cheese will do well. Grate the hard cheese on a coarse grater. You can cut the cheese into small cubes, the taste of the salad will become a little different. I prefer the taste with grated cheese.
Step 7:
Now let's prepare the salad dressing. To do this, mix mayonnaise with spices (I have Italian herbs, you can take ordinary ground black pepper), squeeze out garlic and mix well. At will, mayonnaise can be replaced with sour cream or thick unsweetened yogurt.
Step 8:
Combine all the prepared ingredients in a deep dish and add the garlic dressing. Gently mix the salad. Remove the sample and, if there is little salt, add salt to taste.
Step 9:
Serve, decorate with herbs if desired and serve to the table. A festive version of the salad can be prepared in layers in a serving ring, so it will look more spectacular.
Bon appetit!
It is better to prepare mayonnaise yourself. It will be tastier and healthier. See here interesting
recipes for homemade mayonnaise.
Also, as a dressing, you can use not only mayonnaise, but also sour cream or natural yogurt. They can be taken separately or mixed with mayonnaise in any proportion to your taste - this will reduce the calorie content of the dish.
