Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
How to cook rice with soy sauce? First, collect all the products. This dish can be made both on the stove in a saucepan and in the microwave. I like the second option more. In my opinion, rice turns out much tastier.
Step 2:
Crush the garlic clove with the back of a knife, peel, cut into petals and fry in a frying pan in vegetable oil.
Step 3:
Rinse rice well in several waters, one of which may be hot - rice flour is washed out more thoroughly with it. Drain the excess liquid from the rice through a colander.
Step 4:
Add the washed rice to the fried garlic - it can be removed from the pan if desired, and you can leave it.
Step 5:
Fill the rice with water, first in a 1:1 ratio, i.e. add 1 cup of water.
Step 6:
Turn on the maximum power of the microwave for 10 minutes. Or cook in a cauldron, a saucepan until the water evaporates.
Step 7:
Add soy sauce, stir rice. Pour in half a glass of water, put on 80% microwave power for 8 minutes. Or return the cauldron, pan to the stove and bring to readiness. For a richer color, add turmeric to the rice.
Step 8:
Rice turns out very fragrant, golden, appetizing. Serve it with herbs as a side dish to meat, chicken, fish.
I cooked a juicy chicken breast in a frying pan, took it out, added a spicy tomato sauce and a couple of spoonfuls of water - boiled it, so the gravy is ready! Served toasted juicy chicken breast on a pillow of rice with soy sauce, watering the edge of the plate with the resulting gravy. Enjoy your meal!
For this recipe, you can take any kind of rice that you like best. It can be long-grain, round-grain, medium-grain, red or brown, steamed or not. But keep in mind that the amount of water and cooking time may vary depending on the selected rice variety. Read the cooking instructions on the package!
When adding soy sauce to a dish, it is worth considering that it has a rather salty taste. Reduce the total amount of salt, otherwise you risk over-salting.
Keep in mind that microwaves don't work the same way. The cooking time and recommended power may differ from those stated in the recipe. Read the instructions for your device and take into account the features of your equipment.
