Step-by-step cooking
First, finely chop the cucumbers, then finely chop the radishes and rinse and chop the green onions. Let's dump them together in a large bowl. Add olive oil and salt. Mix the salad thoroughly.
It is best to use extra virgin olive oil for this salad. And salt, for products of Italian cuisine, is best suited to sea.
Now let's get on with the sardines. First we clean the fish and gut it. Next, you need to cut each sardine in half lengthwise. Let's salt it and roll each half into a roll so that the skin of the fish is outside.
Pour water into a saucepan, and when it boils, put a colander on top. Of course, you do not need to do this if there is a steamer. We put sardine rolls in a colander or steamer and cook them for about 5 minutes.
When the sardines are ready, we can put them on top of the previously prepared vegetable salad.
Now the salad of fresh cucumbers and radishes with boiled sardines is ready to be served to the table. In addition, it is worth noting that this salad can be served both warm and cold.
