Cooking method
We arm ourselves with ripe plums, and divide them into neat halves with a knife. We throw away all the bones. We put the plums themselves in a large bottle, or better, a jar. The wider the neck of the glass container is, the easier it will be to extract the swollen plums later.
Add 300 grams of sugar to the container. We cover the neck with gauze, which will work as a filter, letting air inside, but not dust. We leave the glass container to bake in the sun for several days, during which the plum will release abundant juices. Do not hesitate to shake the container, so the drain will give more juice.
Pour vodka into a container with plums. The berries should be completely absorbed under a mixture of juice and vodka. We transfer the container to the refrigerator, cellar, or other corner where it is cool and dark. There plum liqueur ripens for a whole month. The finished alcoholic beverage is filtered with clean gauze and poured into more pleasant-looking bottles.
