Step 1:
Prepare the specified ingredients. Mashed potatoes should be cooked from peeled boiled potatoes. You can cook potatoes in a uniform and peel them. Then it will be easier to use a meat grinder or blender to mash it. Salt and sugar in a pinch. One egg, raw.
Step 2:
You can use mashed potatoes left over from dinner, or you can cook fresh. Then, to prepare mashed potatoes, wash the potatoes thoroughly, clean them. Cut the peeled potatoes into large pieces and put them in a saucepan, pour water, add salt and cook until the potatoes are ready over medium heat, cover with a lid, bringing it to a boil first on high. Drain the water from the finished potatoes, mash with a pusher, getting rid of lumps, and cool a little.
Step 3:
Add part of the sifted flour to the cooled mashed potatoes and mix. It is easier to do this with a pusher or fork, the dough is still very sticky.
Step 4:
Add an egg to the dough and stir. Then gradually add the sifted flour and knead the dough with your hands. Add flour until the dough sticks to the hands and walls of the dishes.
Step 5:
Assemble the finished dough into a ball and can be used for molding various products: pies, pies, dumplings. To do this, it is necessary to sprinkle the table with flour, cut off part of the dough, lay out the filling and wrap it, clamping the edges.
