Cooking method
To do this, you should take ripe or frozen berries. We pour them into a liter jar — this will be the amount that is necessary for this recipe. Carefully sort the berries, put them in small portions in a colander and rinse under running water.
Pour water into a deep enameled saucepan, pour sugar into it and put it in a warm place. The sugar should completely melt while we prepare the berries for the drink.
Put the washed cranberries in a saucepan or bowl, gently knead with a spoon or a pusher. When the berries release the juice, carefully transfer the cranberry puree into sweet water. The resulting mixture is mixed well so that the sweet water mixes with the juice of berries. After that, drain the cognac, and mix again.
Pour the sweet tincture into a glass jar, close with a nylon lid and shake well so that all the products mix well again. We put the drink in a dark place at room temperature for 3-4 days. So that the tincture does not ferment, you do not need to put it in a warm place — the appropriate temperature will be 19-20 degrees.
Filter the finished tincture through a fine strainer or several layers of gauze. Pour into a decanter or bottle, and refrigerate for several hours.
