Cooking method
Avocado for pate must be ripe. It is not always possible to buy ripe fruit in the store, green and hard fruits are most often sold. But the situation is easy to fix. Unripe fruits can be put in a paper bag and put away in a dark place. The room temperature should be at room temperature. In a week or one and a half avocados will ripen. If you put a banana together with them in a paper bag, the process will speed up a little.
To prepare the pate according to this recipe, you will need one large avocado or two small ones. My avocado, wipe gently with a paper towel, then cut lengthwise into halves. We remove the bone, and put the pulp in a bowl with a teaspoon. When the skin is completely cleaned, and all the pulp is transferred to a bowl, it will need to be kneaded. A fork is perfect for these purposes, we knead the pulp with it.
The pulp of ripe avocado is kneaded very easily and quickly - literally 10 seconds is enough. Add freshly squeezed lemon juice to the resulting mass and pour olive oil. Mix everything well.
Next, pour sea salt to taste and freshly ground black pepper, stir again until smooth. We taste it and, if necessary, add a little more salt and pepper.
Simple and quick pate is ready! It turns out to be very tasty, healthy and nutritious! The perfect breakfast or snack during the day. Yes, you can put the pate in a small jar and take it with you to work together, for example, with whole grain bread.
Good health and good mood!
