Crab sticks stuffed with cheese

A great snack option for a festive table! Crab sticks stuffed with cheese are an unrealistically delicate-tasting snack. The cheese used in the recipe is melted. Before cooking, it can be put in the freezer for a few minutes to make it easier to rub. Regarding mayonnaise: homemade is preferable to purchased. There should be just enough mayonnaise so that the mass can be spread. That is, it should not be too dry. If desired, mayonnaise can be diluted with sour cream in a ratio of 1:1. So it will be less caloric, but also delicious.

Cooking method

1. Put the eggs in a saucepan. Fill with water so that it is completely covered. We send it to the fire. We cook hard-boiled eggs, namely for 7 minutes from the moment of boiling.

2. Then we put the eggs in a container with cold water, let it cool down a little. The cooled eggs are cleaned from the shell.

3. We release the melted cheese from the wrappers. Grate on a fine grater together with the eggs. We put it in a deep bowl.

4. Peel the garlic from the husk. Rub the cloves on a fine grater. You can also skip through the press. The main thing is to get a garlic gruel in the end.

5. Dill is washed under running water. Dry it. Using a sharp knife, chop finely. Spread together with garlic in a bowl with cheese and eggs.

6. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste. And also add mayonnaise. Mix it up. The mass should not be too dry, but also not too wet. The consistency should be creamy so that the resulting paste is spread well.

7. We release crab sticks from wrappers. We put them in a container with hot water. Leave for 1-2 minutes. This is necessary so that the sticks do not tear while we are unwrapping them.

8. We remove the crab sticks from the water, dry them with paper towels. Carefully unfold.

9. We smear the unwrapped stick with cheese and egg paste. Tightly rolled into a roll. In this way, we stuff all the sticks.

10. We send the snack to the refrigerator. Leave for half an hour. Then we remove it from the refrigerator, cut the sticks into pieces. Beautifully served on a platter.
