- Wash and peel the zucchini, then cut it into thin matchsticks, like for a slaw.
- Wash the tomatoes and cut them into wedges. Peel the garlic and cut it into small pieces.
- Sauté the tomatoes and garlic in the olive oil.
- Wash the green peas and the basil, and chop the basil with a knife.
- Add the zucchini, peas, and basil to the skillet, season with salt and pepper to taste, and keep cooking over low heat for 3–4 minutes.
- Cook the pasta according to the package directions.
- Combine the pasta with the vegetables, toss, and serve.
