Bright and festive — make this original layered salad! Cod liver "fur coat" salad is a real showpiece for any celebration; it comes out so colorful and pretty. And it tastes wonderful, too. You can serve it right after assembling, but it's better to chill it a bit so the flavors meld. Built in a serving ring, it looks very stylish.

- Rinse the rice under running water and set it to cook in lightly salted water. 2. Wash the eggs and hard-boil them. 3. Wash the cucumber and bell pepper, and seed the pepper. Cut both the cucumber and pepper into small cubes. 4. Wash and dry the herbs. Slice the green onion into rings and finely chop the dill. 5. Peel and mince the garlic, stir it into the mayonnaise. 6. Set aside two-thirds of the garlicky mayonnaise; into the rest, stir the dill (reserving a little dill to garnish the salad). Mix everything well. 7. Rinse the cooked rice; cool and peel the eggs. 8. Stir the dill mayonnaise into the rice. 9. Assemble the salad in a serving ring: first layer — rice; second layer — diced cucumber and a mayonnaise lattice; third layer — chopped cod liver; fourth layer — bell pepper plus a mayonnaise lattice; fifth layer — green onion; sixth layer — coarsely grated egg whites plus a mayonnaise lattice; final layer — finely grated egg yolks. 10. Garnish the salad with dill and pieces of bell pepper (or however you like). 11. Chill the finished salad in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours. Enjoy!
