Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Prepare the products. I specially left the cookies in the package, so it will be easier to grind them. My coffee is from a coffee maker, but you can just brew instant, as long as it is strong. Sugar can not be put, cookies are sweet enough.
Step 2:
Cook or brew some coffee, a few tablespoons will be enough. Add sugar to it to taste, I put a teaspoon, but it could have been less. Stir in the sugar, let the coffee cool down a little.
Step 3:
Chop the cookies. I took a rolling pin and tapped right on the package of cookies. The film is strong enough and has not broken. But you could use a blender or just pour the cookies into a tight bag and knock on it already. No matter how, the main thing is to achieve the state of a small crumb. Even if you have slightly larger pieces left, it's not scary, they will get soaked later from cheese and coffee, these cookies absorb moisture very well.
Step 4:
Pour the ground cookies into a bowl, pour the coffee. Add the cheese.
Step 5:
With a spoon, or you can immediately use your hands, mix the mass thoroughly until the products are completely mixed. If it remains dry while stirring, then pour in some more coffee. As a result, you should get a soft elastic mass that is easy to sculpt.
Step 6:
Roll this mass into walnut-sized balls. When all the balls are ready, put them in the refrigerator for half an hour.
Step 7:
Pour cocoa powder on a plate. Roll each ball in cocoa.
Step 8:
Melt the chocolate in any way. It is possible in the microwave, it is possible in a water bath. Then pour it into a bag or a pastry bag. I just put the broken chocolate in a tight bag and dipped it in hot water for a few minutes. Cut off a small tip from the package. Draw lines on the cakes using chocolate.
Step 9:
Put the finished cakes in the refrigerator for another half hour so that the chocolate freezes.
The cakes turned out very tasty! They look like the Potatoes we are used to.
Various flavors can be added to the mass of cookies: vanilla, cinnamon, alcohol. You can also pour melted chocolate over the cakes.
