Cooking method
The longest in the preparation of this salad is the preparation of eggs. To reduce the time to work on dinner in the evening, it is better to cook eggs in advance. At the same time, it is not necessary to leave them to cool in the open air, even if rapid cooling is not required. Just boiled eggs are lowered into ice water until completely cooled. In this case, the shell will be easily peeled off from them, and the eggs will remain intact, and the sliced pieces are beautiful.
Salad preparation does not require special skills, only slicing food and dressing. We start with eggs, cut into small cubes and transfer to a deep bowl. Ham and cheese are also cut into cubes. It is best if the slicing is not too large, in which case the salad will be tender. The same size of cubes will help the finished dish to get a presentable look for a festive event.
We discard the pickled mushrooms in a colander and leave them to drain a little, the salad does not need extra liquid. Before use, it is advisable to additionally blot the oil with paper towels in order to absorb excess moisture for sure. We cut the prepared mushrooms into cubes, trying to make them smooth and beautiful.
We do the same with peas, discard them on a sieve and, when the liquid drains, dry them with napkins. We send the peas and chopped mushrooms to a common bowl with salad.
Green onions are washed under running water, dried and finely chopped. Add to the salad. Season with salt and ground pepper to taste, it is not recommended to use other spices, the taste of the finished salad is so rich and pronounced.
Add mayonnaise and mix the salad well. It is advisable to close it with a lid and send it to the refrigerator for cooling for at least 30 minutes. After that, we take it out of the refrigerator, put it on a beautiful plate, season it with a sprig of dill and serve it to the table.
Bon appetit!
