Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Mushrooms are washed and cut into medium pieces. Peel the onion, cut into half rings.
Step 2:
Put the frying pan on the fire, pour vegetable oil and heat it up a little. Pour out the mushrooms and onions, add a pinch of salt, stir and fry over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 3:
Grate the smoked cheese on a coarse grater.
Step 4:
Boil the carrots until tender for about 30 minutes, cool, clean and grate one whole and half - half of the carrots will go for decoration.
Step 5:
Hard-boiled eggs for 10 minutes, put in cold water until completely cooled. Clean and three on a coarse grater.
Step 6:
Chop the dill with a knife, after cutting off the stems.
Step 7:
For the first layer, mix the mushrooms with cheese and mayonnaise so that the mushrooms stick together well and the salad does not crumble. We lay out the first layer, forming a herringbone. We try to tamper everything well and make a uniform surface, without bumps.
Step 8:
Mix carrots with mayonnaise, mix and spread the second layer, also well rammed and leveled with a fork. If we mix carrots and mayonnaise at once, it will be more convenient for us to apply a layer, and mayonnaise will take less, literally 1 tablespoon.
Step 9:
The third layer is eggs. They are also pre-mixed with mayonnaise and evenly applied according to our template.
Step 10:
The final layer is decorative. This is dill. Sprinkle them liberally on the salad so that it looks no worse than a real Christmas tree.
Step 11:
As a decoration and used the remaining carrots and canned red pepper. I cut carrots into large circles and cut small ones out of them (you can squeeze them right out of the middle of the big ones), also cut circles and a star out of pepper.
