Homemade Frozen Berry Wine
A quick, easy homemade wine made from frozen berries! Delicious! Of course, this isn't wine in the classic sense, but a genuine cordial. Then again, who knows what they're selling us at the store as "wine"? So I'm all for homemade wine like this — a little at a time and in good company... why not?!

- Thaw the berries and put them in a jar. Add the peeled, coarsely chopped ginger and the chopped chili pepper. Pour in the alcohol, stir, and seal. Put it in a dark place at room temperature for about 2 weeks, or longer. Shake the jar now and then. 2. Strain the infusion through a double layer of cheesecloth. Make a syrup from the water and fructose and let it cool. Mix the syrup with the infusion, stir well, and let this fragrant homemade wine rest in the refrigerator for at least a couple of days. This quick, simple wine has a very pleasant taste. You can barely feel the alcohol (though it's about 35% ABV), so I recommend keeping an eye on how much you drink and definitely not finishing it all by yourself. Enjoy!
