- As it happens, we tend to associate the end of any celebration with dessert — be it a wedding, birthday, anniversary, office party, or children's party. This dessert suits any holiday that falls during raspberry season, which can run from summer all the way to October. This "raspberry fantasy," as we'll call our treat, is simply incredibly delicious! I make one large portion for each member of my family. We love to enjoy this dessert sitting in the garden gazebo, eating it in small bites with long-handled cocktail spoons. You need to eat it right away, before the cereal balls lose their crunch. The dessert is elegant and looks restaurant-worthy, but it costs far less since we make it ourselves at home. Choose pretty tall glasses for serving. You can present this treat in all sorts of ways — for instance, as shown in the photo. With a little imagination, you can give the same dish a new look every time. Make this simple dessert in any berry season. You can mix raspberries with other berries for variety.
