Tuna Salad for New Year's and Christmas
A delicious, festive salad for the holidays! This beautiful layered fish salad will take pride of place on your celebration table!
Cooking method

Step 1:
Chop the onion very finely.

Step 2:
Tip the onion into a bowl and add 1 tsp sugar and 1 tsp salt.

Step 3:
Add 1 tsp vinegar essence to the onion, pour over boiling water, stir, and cover with a lid.

Step 4:
Grate the boiled potato on a coarse grater.

Step 5:
Brush the inside of a ring mold with vegetable oil and add the potato as the first layer in the mold. Top the potato with a layer of homemade mayonnaise.

Step 6:
Mash the tuna on a plate with a fork and add it to the mold as the next layer.

Step 7:
Chop the dill very finely.

Step 8:
Drain the onion through a sieve and rinse it under running water.

Step 9:
Mix the finely chopped dill into the onion and spread it in a thin layer over the salad. Top the onion with a layer of mayonnaise.

Step 10:
Grate the carrots on a fine grater.

Step 11:
Spread the carrot as the next layer in the salad and cover with a little mayonnaise.

Step 12:
Grate the boiled eggs on a fine grater.

Step 13:
Grate the processed cheese on a fine grater.

Step 14:
Mix the egg and cheese together well.

Step 15:
Add this as the final layer of the salad and press it down lightly with a fork.

Step 16:
Remove the mold and take out the center ring.

Step 17:
Cut the kiwi into thin rounds.

Step 18:
Arrange the kiwi rounds over the top of the salad.

Step 19:
Garnish with sprigs of dill and flowers cut from the bell pepper and carrot.

Step 20:
Refrigerate the salad so it can chill and set.
