Cranberry Syrup Sauce

    1. Wash the cranberries, put them in a saucepan with a little water (100 ml), and bring to a boil. 2. Add the applesauce and orange zest, cover, and cook until the cranberries are soft and have burst apart. 3. Stir often as it cooks to keep it from scorching, since the sauce gets fairly thick. At the end, add vanilla to taste, and thin the sauce with cooled boiled water to the consistency you like, if you wish. Serve it chilled. Enjoy!
