- Start by boiling the vegetables — potatoes, carrots, and eggs. While they cook, dice the ham into small cubes and drop them into a large salad bowl. 2. Once the eggs have cooled, peel them, dice them, and add them to the bowl with the ham. 3. Dice the dill pickles and add them too. 4. Peel the boiled carrots and potatoes, cut them into cubes the same size as the rest, and add them to the bowl. 5. Drain the canned corn and stir it in. Season with salt and mix everything well. 6. Finally, fold in the mayonnaise. 7. Your Olivier salad with corn is ready, but let it chill in the fridge for a few hours so the flavors can come together.
