- Sort the cloudberries, keeping only whole, ripe berries, and pull off the stems. Rinse the berries, then put them in a sieve and let the excess liquid drain off.
- Once drained, press the berries through the sieve—you want a smooth berry purée.
- Pour the purée into a saucepan and heat it. Add the sugar and stir. Stirring occasionally, reduce the mixture over low heat for about an hour.
- Ladle the hot jelly into sterilized jars, wrap them in a blanket, and let them cool, then store the jars away.
