    1. Sort the cloudberries, keeping only whole, ripe berries, and pull off the stems. Rinse the berries, then put them in a sieve and let the excess liquid drain off.
    1. Once drained, press the berries through the sieve—you want a smooth berry purée.
    1. Pour the purée into a saucepan and heat it. Add the sugar and stir. Stirring occasionally, reduce the mixture over low heat for about an hour.
    1. Ladle the hot jelly into sterilized jars, wrap them in a blanket, and let them cool, then store the jars away.
