  • Pour the milk into a small saucepan and set it over the heat. Once the milk warms up, start adding the semolina. To keep it lump-free, don't dump it all in at once: take two spoons — use one to sprinkle the semolina over the milk while you stir briskly with the other in circular motions. Cook the porridge over low heat for about 10 minutes; near the end, add a pat of butter and sugar to taste. Serve with jam, butter, or dried fruit, however you like.
