Cooking method

Cooking time: 25 min
  1. Step 1:

    Step 1

Gather your ingredients. For the seafood, I'm using a ready-made seafood mix.

  2. Step 2:

    Step 2

First, get the tagliatelle cooking. Boil it according to the package directions, drain it in a colander, and rinse with water.

  3. Step 3:

    Step 3

While the pasta cooks, work on the seafood. Heat oil in a skillet, slice the garlic into rounds, and fry until golden and translucent. Then discard the garlic.

  4. Step 4:

    Step 4

Add the chili paste and the seafood to the oil, stir well, and leave it to cook over low heat.

  5. Step 5:

    Step 5

Then add sesame seeds to taste and stir.

  6. Step 6:

    Step 6

Once the seafood is done, add the tagliatelle, toss to combine, and leave it in the pan for a few minutes. Then turn off the heat.

  7. Step 7:

    Step 7

Divide the finished tagliatelle among serving plates and sprinkle with sesame seeds and fresh herbs. Enjoy!

  • If you love Italian food, you're probably already familiar with a dish called tagliatelle. There's a whole legend in Italy tied to it: tagliatelle is said to owe its origin to none other than Lucrezia Borgia, whose stunning wedding-day hairstyle so captivated one of the chefs that it inspired him to invent a new dish. Tagliatelle is something like our noodles (it's not spaghetti!), and it's served with all sorts of things, from vegetables to seafood. I love seafood, so I recommend this tagliatelle-with-seafood recipe.
