Rice is the basis of nutrition for more than half of the world's population. In Japan, rice is an indispensable attribute of every day of life and every meal. Russian people also often eat this cereal and know a lot of culinary recipes for cooking a variety of rice food. Now I will share with you a recipe for Japanese cuisine - rice with red beans. So, to begin with, thoroughly rinse the rice with cold water about 10 times, put it in a small saucepan. Fill the rice with cool water, bring to a boil, then turn down the heat and cook on low heat for 20-30 minutes until the water is completely absorbed.
Soak the beans for 5-6 hours in cold water. Boil it for 1 hour, then drain the water. We transfer the beans to a colander and dry them.
Mix the beans with rice, add salt to taste and steam for about 30 minutes more.
When serving, we decorate the dish with herbs. In a separate container, we serve soy sauce so that you can season the dish with it at will.
