Cod Liver and Tomato Appetizer
A delicious, healthy appetizer in a matter of minutes. Cod liver is a tasty, healthy delicacy — but you can't eat much of it on its own. So cod liver is usually turned into various appetizers or salads. My favorite is this cod liver and tomato appetizer, and that's the recipe I'd like to share.

- Wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Slice the tomatoes into rounds about 1 cm thick. Mash the cod liver with a fork, grate the cheese and egg on a coarse grater, and finely chop the green onion. Combine the cod liver, cheese, egg, and green onion, season with salt and pepper, add the mayonnaise, and mix. Arrange the lettuce leaves on a platter, top with the tomato slices, and spoon the cod liver mixture onto the tomatoes. Garnish with parsley if you like and serve. The tomato and cod liver appetizer is ready! Enjoy!
