Cooking method
1. First of all, it is necessary to fry the garlic. Fried garlic is an unusually fragrant and delicious seasoning for various dishes, including some sauces. To do this, peel the garlic from the husk, rinse, dry and cut into thin plates. Then pour into a small container and place in the microwave for 2 minutes. Then mash the soft garlic with a fork. You can also fry in the traditional way in a frying pan with the addition of a small amount of oil.
2. Put butter in a saucepan or a small saucepan with a thick bottom and melt it over medium heat.
3. Then add a little flour to the saucepan and, mixing thoroughly with butter, fry the flour for 1-2 minutes.
4. Pour cream into a saucepan (33% cream is best suited) and, constantly whipping with a whisk, add fried and chopped garlic. Bring the mixture to a boil.
5. Add salt, freshly ground black pepper and grated parmesan to the saucepan. Bring the contents of the saucepan to a boil again and reduce the heat to medium. Keep whipping the sauce with a whisk all the time and keep cooking until it thickens. It will take about 2-3 minutes.
6. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Cool the sauce a little and taste it. Add the missing ingredients (salt, pepper).
Cheese garlic sauce is ready! Pour it into a beautiful dish and decorate with chopped herbs.
This white cream sauce can be used for meat, chicken, baked or boiled vegetables, or simply spread on toast or French baguette. It can also be used for pizza instead of the traditional red or added to pasta or lasagna. Ready-made cheese and garlic sauce can be poured into an airtight container and stored in the refrigerator for 5-7 days. Bon appetit!
