How to Boil Langoustines with Sea Salt

Not sure how to cook langoustines the right way? This recipe is for you! Boiling langoustines is really simple. The key rule is the same as with all seafood: don't overcook them, or they'll turn rubbery and lose all their flavor to the water. The second rule (more of a tip, really) is to add something acidic to the water to cut the strong seafood smell. Ready to start?

    1. Rinse the langoustines under cold water. 2. Fill a pot with water and add the sea salt. 3. Squeeze the lemon juice into the water. 4. Bring it to a boil, then drop the langoustines into the boiling water for 15 seconds. Don't overcook them, or the seafood will turn rubbery! The langoustines are done and ready to serve as they are, or to use in other dishes like salads.
