Surprise-Filled Easter Eggs
Tired of the usual dyed Easter eggs? Let's give them a surprise inside! Easter is right around the corner and there's no time to spare. I suggest making surprise eggs that are sure to wow everyone — you've never had jelly candy and "ice cream" served in an eggshell like this! I'll also share a quick, unusual trick for decorating Easter eggs with nail polish.
Cooking method
-
Step 1:
Decorating the eggs: take a chicken egg with an intact shell. Carefully make a hole in the shell with a sharp tool and use a syringe to draw out the yolk and white.
-
Step 2:
Rinse the empty shell thoroughly under running water. Coat the shells with white nail polish as a base.
-
Step 3:
Pour water into a glass. Take any nail polish and drip it onto the water's surface drop by drop. Get creative and make patterns on the water — it's best to use several polish colors.
-
Step 4:
Take an egg and gently lower it into the water so the pattern transfers onto the shell.
-
Step 5:
Admire the result and let the polish dry a little.
-
Step 6:
Cover the piece of pumpkin and the apple with a little water and cook until tender.
-
Step 7:
Remove from the heat and blend smooth. Strain through cheesecloth. Add enough water to the resulting liquid to make 250 ml, then bring it to a boil.
-
Step 8:
Dissolve the agar-agar in 75 ml of cold water and add it to the pumpkin mixture. Mix thoroughly and add honey to taste for sweetness.
-
Step 9:
Remove from the heat and fill an eggshell using the syringe.
-
Step 10:
Refrigerate to set for 20–30 minutes.
-
Step 11:
Take any juice you like, preferably homemade, and fill another shell with it using the syringe.
-
Step 12:
Insert a bamboo stick into the hole and place it in the freezer to set, popsicle-style.
