  • For this pomegranate bracelet salad I like to use beef, though you can make it with all kinds of meat — beef, chicken, or pork, and even plain sausage in a pinch, if meat is really scarce. The star of the salad is the pomegranate seeds, which make it burst with juicy flavor. Build the pomegranate bracelet salad in layers, spreading mayonnaise over each one. First, boil all the vegetables, peel them, and grate them on the coarse side of a grater. The beef should be boiled or fried ahead of time — your choice — and cut into small pieces. Assemble the salad in layers on a flat dish. Lay the potatoes on the bottom and spread with mayonnaise. Next comes the carrot and more mayonnaise. Then the meat layer and mayonnaise. Mix the grated beets with the walnuts and spread over the beef. Coat everything well with mayonnaise. Crown the salad with pomegranate seeds on top. Let it sit for 2 hours so all the layers soak through. After that, the pomegranate bracelet with beef is ready to serve!
