Tomato adjika with bell pepper, cilantro and nuts

I found the most rational use for tomatoes! You may be surprised by such a detailed name – "tomato adjika". "Naturally, from tomatoes! What else can it be made of?", you may ask. And you will be absolutely wrong! Yes, imagine, tomatoes are not included in the composition of this adjika. Only chili pepper, garlic and salt. So, adding tomatoes to the recipe, it is more correct to call the resulting food sauce. Well, okay, let's not cling to words, let's do business – cook!

So, we pass tomatoes and sweet pepper through a meat grinder. Good news! Seeds from tomatoes do not need to be removed. Stir, pour the oil and put it on low heat. Cook for about an hour. Then turn it off, let it cool down, add vinegar, salt, finely chopped garlic, sugar, herbs twisted through a meat grinder. Optionally, also coriander and ground walnut. Mix thoroughly again – and let it infuse.
We use it with bread :) By no means before going out to people :))
