No-Bake Cottage Cheese Cake with Yogurt
This no-bake cake comes together quickly and fuss-free for any celebration! A cheesecake — or cottage cheese cake — that works for any occasion or simply for treating your family to something delicious.
Cooking method
-
Step 1:
Gather our ingredients.
-
Step 2:
Crush the cookies into fine crumbs (I used baked-milk-flavored ones), pour in the melted butter, and mix.
-
Step 3:
If it's not sweet enough, add some condensed milk.
-
Step 4:
Press our finished "dough" into a springform pan lined with cling film. Form a small rim around the edge.
-
Step 5:
Now for the filling. Mash the cottage cheese and mix it with the raisins. Soak the gelatin in cold water and dissolve it over a double boiler.
-
Step 6:
Add the yogurt (mine was peach), add some apricot jam and the cooled, prepared gelatin, and mix well.
-
Step 7:
Pour the finished filling onto the base and put it in the refrigerator. Once the filling has set, grate chocolate over the top.
-
Step 8:
All done! Everyone to the table for tea.
- Each time, make the filling with different add-ins and you get a completely new cake. It could be banana and cocoa, any berries, cherries, and so on. Create and enjoy. The prep takes around 30 minutes, and then it needs 2-4 hours in the refrigerator to set. But oh, what a pleasure afterward, mmmmm.....
