Fried Ice Cream
An unusual, surprising dessert — hot on the outside, cold on the inside! Fried ice cream is a hit with everyone! It's a crispy shell of hot, buttery crumbs wrapped around a cold, molten center of ice cream. Anyone who tries it will be amazed!
Cooking method
-
Step 1:
Divide the ice cream into portions. You can scoop it into balls or simply cut it into cubes with a knife. Put it back in the freezer to firm up well.
-
Step 2:
Crush the wafers.
-
Step 3:
Mix them with the shredded coconut.
-
Step 4:
In a separate bowl, crack the egg and beat it lightly with a whisk or fork. For richer flavor, you can add a little salt.
-
Step 5:
Dip the ice cream in the crumbs, then in the egg, then in the crumbs again. Freeze it.
-
Step 6:
Bring the oil to frying temperature.
-
Step 7:
Take the frozen balls (or cubes) straight from the freezer and lower them into the oil, frying until golden on all sides.
-
Step 8:
Serve immediately with jam, honey, fruit...
- Enjoy!
