Fried Battered Okra

Battered okra is a tasty, satisfying dish. Try it and see for yourself! Whenever I can get my hands on this exotic vegetable, this is how I like to cook it — a crispy crust on the outside and okra's distinctive, out-of-the-ordinary flavor inside. Recommended :)

    1. Wash the okra. Smaller pods work best; cut any large ones into a few pieces. 2. Crack 3 eggs into a bowl and beat them with a whisk. 3. Sift the flour into a suitably sized dish and stir in the mixed ground peppercorns and garlic powder. Mix well. 4. In a separate dish, grate the Parmesan and add the breadcrumbs, then mix. 5. Dip the okra first in the egg, then dredge it in the flour mixture. Next, dip it back in the egg and coat it in the breadcrumb-Parmesan mixture. 6. Set the breaded pieces on a flat surface. 7. Heat a skillet with vegetable oil. 8. Fry the okra until golden. 9. Transfer the finished okra to paper towels to blot off the excess oil. Enjoy!
