- Take smooth pears (the Conference variety) so they resemble the elongated snouts of hedgehogs. 2. Make a shallow circular cut at the spot where the pear starts to widen (so it stands upright without tipping over). 3. Take toothpicks and thread grapes onto them (you can use green or black grapes, whichever you like). 4. Stick the grape-laden toothpicks into the pear. 5. Make the hedgehog's eyes from cloves (you can use raisins). 6. Put a grape on the tip of the nose. Use them to decorate your table — kids and grown-ups alike are sure to love them! Enjoy!
