I used to just sort through the berry, howled it and gradually falling asleep with sugar, pushed it with a wooden pusher. It is wooden, because when using a metal pusher, a huge amount of acids contained in cranberries react with metal and new acids are formed that are absolutely not useful for the human body. Oh, well, I just got a chemistry lesson! After wiping the cranberries with sugar, I put them in jars and in the refrigerator. Now I have improved this method a little. I use frozen cranberries. Scientists say that the taiga is sterile, and cranberries contain a natural preservative – benzoic acid. A natural preservative prevents the development of all kinds of bacteria and the emergence of the fermentation process. Therefore, there is no point in washing cranberries. So I don't wash it, but immediately twist it through a meat grinder. In frozen form, acids do not react with metal. And then I also fall asleep with sugar, put it in jars and in the refrigerator. The ratio of sugar and cranberries: for 1 kilogram of cranberries, I fall asleep 1.5 kilograms of sugar. Such a vitamin mixture serves as an excellent basis for tea.
