Kefir with Jam
A healthy, nourishing breakfast will give you strength and energy for the whole day. Kefir for breakfast is very good for you. The word itself, translated from Turkish, means "health." The recipe for making kefir was acquired in an almost criminal way. Legend has it that at the very start of the 20th century a Caucasian prince abducted a Russian girl, and to buy off the avenging hand of justice he paid for it with kefir grains. They were put to use right away. And it was in Russia that the kefir-making technology was patented. It's not quite clear, though, why kefir's culture is said to come from the Bulgarian bacillus.

Cooking method
- What could be simpler than kefir with jam? The simplest food there could be — mix kefir with jam and you're done. Well, no, it's not quite that simple. Take kefir, jam (any kind, but black currant or strawberry is best), and cream. First, press the jam through a sieve to remove the seeds. Beat it with a mixer, gradually adding the cream and then the kefir, whisking until you get a fluffy foam. The sweeter the jam, the less of it you need. And if you also take 1.5 tablespoons of gelatin, soak it in water for 30 minutes, then dissolve it in a double boiler and beat it into our mixture, you'll get an amazingly delicious mousse. It will just need to chill in the fridge for 2 hours.
