  • I'm sure everyone has spotted wafer layers for making cakes at home in the store at least once. But I know that not everyone uses them for that. Some people just ignore them; some have simply never thought about it. But I recommend making this dessert, especially since there are loads of recipes using wafer layers. And today I'll share one of them — a wafer-layer cake with condensed milk. For it, take boiled condensed milk (better if you cook it yourself) and beat it together with pre-softened butter. To keep the resulting cream from being too sweet, you can add a little citric acid. Now spread each layer well with our cream and stack them one on top of the other. Don't spread anything on the top of the last layer. Put the assembled wafer cake in the fridge overnight so it soaks through well. In the morning it's ready to serve with tea. Enjoy!
