Quick Green Onion and Egg Fritters
These fritters are about the fastest thing you can make! Super quick! They belong to that category of "lazy" recipes — some people turn their noses up at them, but plenty of us keep them in our back pocket for when the kitchen clock is ticking and lunch or dinner needs to happen fast.
Cooking method
-
Step 1:
Gather your ingredients.
-
Step 2:
Crack the eggs into a mixing bowl.
-
Step 3:
Add the kefir and baking soda.
-
Step 4:
Stir well.
-
Step 5:
Season the batter with salt and pepper.
-
Step 6:
Stir again until well combined.
-
Step 7:
Add the flour and stir. The batter is ready.
-
Step 8:
These are called "lazy" fritters because the filling gets mixed right into the batter. Chop the hard-boiled eggs and stir them in.
-
Step 9:
Do the same with the green onion — chop it and stir it into the batter. Mix it all together and you're set.
-
Step 10:
Heat the oil and fry the fritters, dropping the batter in by the spoonful.
-
Step 11:
And they're done.
- Enjoy!
