Step-by-step cooking
Step 1:
Wash the potatoes, peel them with a vegetable peeler, rinse so that no dirt remains on it. If necessary, cut out the "eyes", if any. Thinly slice it into circles 2-3 mm thick. It is better to cut it using a slicer with the necessary nozzle (I used this tool), since in this case the potatoes will be more beautiful and the circles will have the same thickness, which is important for uniform baking of potatoes.
Step 2:
Now divide the potatoes into two equal parts, one of which is placed on the bottom of the mold, pre-greased with vegetable oil. Season the potato slices with salt. Wash the pork, cut into pieces. Beat off the pieces with a hammer, then put the next layer on the potato circles, completely covering the potatoes. Season the meat with salt and pepper to your liking.
Step 3:
Now peel the onion and cut it into thin half rings. Put the chopped onion in the next layer. Put the second part of the potato circles on top of the onion. Sprinkle the potatoes with salt again, if desired, add a little ground black pepper (optional).
Step 4:
Now take a piece of cheese and grate it on a fine grater. Sprinkle the potatoes on top of them, then smear the cheese with mayonnaise. Now proceed directly to baking meat with potatoes. To do this, put the oven to warm up to 180 ° C. When the oven is preheated to the desired temperature, put the dish form inside, close the oven door and cook the dish until ready.
Step 5:
Depending on the oven, the thickness of slicing meat and potatoes, the exact cooking time depends. On average, it will be from 40 to 60 minutes. I advise you to check the dish for readiness after 40 minutes, if necessary, put it in the oven and finish cooking. After taking the sample, it becomes clear how much more you need to cook, or you can take the sample again. The finished dish is immediately divided into portions, spread on plates, serve on the table and enjoy.
Keep in mind that everyone's ovens are different. The temperature and cooking time may differ from those specified in the recipe. To make any baked dish successful, use useful information in this article !
