- Start with the dough: sift the flour into a mound in a deep bowl, make a small well in the center with your hand, and pour in the water and vegetable oil. Salt it and knead into a dough that stays soft and doesn't stick to your hands. Shape it into a ball, wrap in plastic, and chill for 30 minutes. Now make the filling: cut the pork belly, onion, potatoes, and blood sausage into small dice, and finely chop the marjoram. Put the lard in a skillet and melt it over low heat. Add the onion and pork belly and cook until the onion is soft. Add the potatoes and cook until done — about 20 minutes. Finish by adding the blood sausage and marjoram. Season the filling with salt and pepper to taste and stir. Cut the apple into pieces and toss with the lemon juice. On to the final step: roll the dough out into a thin sheet and stretch it over a baking sheet greased with a little butter. Leaving a 4-inch (10 cm) border, spread the savory filling down the middle and top it with the apples. Fold the dough and edges to shape the pie into a log, trimming off any excess. Brush the pie with the melted butter and bake at 375°F (190°C). The time depends on your oven — 30–40 minutes on average. The pie is ready, enjoy!
