Canapés with Cheese and Tangerines
A fun, vitamin-packed snack for a kids' party! Fruit canapés are a great, light appetizer for the party table. This recipe shows you how to make fruit canapés with cheese added. Personally, I thread the cheese onto each skewer in the shape of a little sail — it comes out very pretty.

Cooking method
- Cut the cheese into thin slices (a dedicated cheese knife works best for this). Peel the pears, remove the core and seeds, and cut into small cubes. Separate the peeled tangerines into individual segments. Pull the grapes off the bunch too (seedless grapes are best). Cut the lemons into rounds and lay them on a wide platter. Take wooden skewers and thread the ingredients onto them in this order: one grape, one tangerine segment, one piece of pear, a square of cheese. Stick each skewer into a lemon round. Our appetizing canapés are ready to eat. It's best to make them right before serving so the tangerine segments don't dry out, or they won't taste good.
